On Tuesday, 28 October 2008, EOWA launched the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency's 2008 Australian Census of Women in Leadership. The Census measures women in leadership positions in Australia and examines the ASX 200 companies and was produced in conjunction with sponsors ANZ and Macquarie University.

Recently Nadine Hartmann, a lawyer from El Salvador, visited Perth, the City that had given her some peace in the late 1980s and early 1990s when El Salvador was suffering a civil war.
