Since 2006, we have presented Women Lawyers of the Year Awards in three categories, being the Woman Lawyer of the Year Award, the Senior Woman Lawyer of the Year Award and the Junior Woman Lawyer of the Year Award. Awards are not always presented each year.

The awards recognise women who have made an outstanding contribution in their various careers, whether or not their career has lead to partnership, taking silk or an appointment to the bench.  In this way, we recognise quality and success that may not have been otherwise recognised.

There are many women lawyers who have excelled professionally and in their community, who may not have received the public recognition they deserve.  We congratulate the Women Lawyers of the Year.
